Three Days, Full Schedule: SignalFisher at it-sa 2026 in Nuremberg
3 min. read – With a seven-person team, a fresh new look and a clear message, SignalFisher headed to it-sa Expo&Congress 2026 in Nuremberg. At the heart of it all was one question: Why are traditional pentests no longer enough in the age of AI? After three days on the show floor, the verdict is overwhelmingly positive.
From October 27 to 29, 2026, Nuremberg hosted it-sa Expo&Congress 2026, an event that brings together vendors, users, public authorities, academia, and policymakers. More than 33,000 trade visitors and over a thousand exhibitors from the IT and cybersecurity sectors, representing more than seventy countries, gathered at the exhibition center to exchange ideas on current threat landscapes, new technologies, and effective strategies for stronger cybersecurity. SignalFisher simply couldn’t miss it! The team, along with CEO Sandro Nafzger and our DACH representative, Kevin Tepper, set off for Nuremberg.
For SignalFisher, the event was the ideal platform to officially step into the German market, generate new leads and show off its new look. The message at the booth was loud and clear: A new era has begun in security testing. The testing programs of the future must be continuous, intelligent, and adaptive.

SignalFisher’s Message on Stage
“Confidence from Coverage” was the message Sandro shared with the audience in his presentations at the accompanying expert forums. In his talk, titled “Intelligent Security Testing: Why Traditional Pentests Are No Longer Enough,” he presented the case of Claude Mythos as a pivotal moment for security testing. Claude Mythos showed that AI can find and exploit numerous vulnerabilities within hours at the push of a button, even in decades-old systems.
Sandro used this example to show why traditional testing can no longer keep pace with today’s AI-amplified threat landscape. The long-established testing cycles, finding vulnerabilities, fixing them and testing again, is like taking a snapshot. Attackers, on the other hand, are innovative, agile, and working around the clock. Today they rely on autonomous, intelligent systems. That is exactly what we should be doing in security testing. A generational shift in security testing is urgently needed. The future lies in intelligent, adaptive testing that tests what matters, when it matters, and learns from every cycle.

A Packed Schedule of Contacts, Leads, and Discussions
The trip to Nuremberg and the team’s presence at it-sa Expo&Congress 2026 paid off for SignalFisher. Over the three days of the show, Sandro and team had many rewarding conversations with interested visitors, met with existing customers, and created promising new connections. The team received great feedback on the rebrand, new logo, and our evolving story. Even more important were the many fascinating discussions about what security testing means today and how Confidence from Coverage can be achieved in practice.
“It was a great trip with the team from Switzerland,” Kevin said as the show wrapped up. “It was three packed days of conversations, keynotes, and interviews. We met lots of customers and got to know potential partners for the future. We’re looking forward to coming back next year.”
